Alderbrook, Queenswood Gardens — full flat renovation

This Alderbrook apartment on Queenswood Gardens was given a complete, top-to-bottom renovation — reconfigured, refinished and refitted throughout, and delivered in just one month.

What we did

We started by reworking the layout: an existing stud wall was taken down and rebuilt to make the space work harder and improve the flow between rooms.

Every wall was then lined with lining paper and redecorated, giving a flawless, crack-free finish ready for paint — the kind of preparation that separates a quick refresh from a proper renovation.

New flooring was laid throughout, running continuously from the hallway through the living space for a clean, cohesive feel.

In the kitchen we installed a brand-new, fully fitted shaker kitchen in a deep forest green, finished with brass handles, white metro tiling and solid worktops.

The centrepiece is a bespoke, made-to-measure bookcase — a custom joinery unit built to frame the living area and double as a room divider, painted in soft duck-egg blue.
